Abuelo the Adventurous Aardvark, 2018

 

Written by Mbonabi Thomas, this story takes Abelo from a night world he considered too dark to a world full of daylight – a new world to explore with excitement, if he could only accept his differences.The story also portrays the importance of families and good friends to not only provide support but to embolden our differences. In the end, being different is not necessarily a bad thing but it could open us up to a new world full of adventures which is exactly what Abelo discovered in the Luangwa Valley.
